What’s one belief about entrepreneurship you think students need to unlearn first?

If work doesn’t have to be miserable to be productive, why do so many companies still operate like it does?

My entrepreneurship story started with a decision: I refuse to live the old way.

And today, I spoke at UGD in Stip, a place that has opened its doors to me more times than I can count.

Because of that, I always try to bring the same thing back: honesty.

For years, I watched business owners who were disconnected from their people, conservative in mindset, and convinced that profit was the only metric that mattered.

When I promised myself to be different, I built a work environment that was the complete opposite of what I saw.

I told the students about the new entrepreneur – the one who adapts as the world changes.

Today, the barriers to entry are low because with AI, you can try your hand at basically everything.

But the emotional barriers are still sky-high.

And with the average age of a successful founder being 45, the lesson is this: the lack of experience is temporary, but the persistence is permanent.

The world is changing.
The next generation of entrepreneurs will look nothing like the last.

If one person in that room walked away thinking, “I can build something new my own way,” I’ve done my job.
