Spending time away from home has prompted me to reflect on the invaluable insights from the Macedonia2025 Gala last week.
Despite the problems Macedonia faces today, many people don’t see them as shortcomings, but as opportunities.
Mike Zafirovski and David Calhoun led an exceptional panel discussion, drawing astute parallels between Macedonia’s situation and running many business juggernauts. Working with people from the likes of Jack Welch has provided David and Mike with countless opportunities to learn and grow.
Now, they’re paying it forward.
Giving back to the community. Giving back to the leaders around them. Giving back to future changemakers.
But what resonated most was their emphasis on family.
You can be the best in the business, but without your families, you still won’t be enough.
